A bit about us: we’re Leah & Nikki, best friends who met at uni in 2010 and have been side-by-side ever since. Having never planned on going into business together, ohne was the product of one too many wine-fuelled rants about mainstream, hyper-gendered period products and fangirling over our fave organic products. Once we realised that our dream menstrual care brand wasn’t gonna drop from the sky, we knew we had to create it ourselves.

What we’re all about.

We started off with the simple idea that everyone – regardless of gender or body type – should be able to manage their cycle with safe, effective, toxin-free products. We’re here to help you learn about your body, understand your hormones and provide a wide range of all-natural products that focus on your whole cycle. From our 100% organic cotton tampons and pads to our cbd-infused cycle care products - we’ve built a holistic one-stop-shop for everything you need to get you through each and every phase (and every mood) of your cycle.

We want a world where everyone who bleeds 
feels comfortable getting up close and personal with 
their body 's nuances and needs — sans shame, guilt or any of the toxic stigmas (or toxic ingredients) society has attached to menstruation. Because we believe understanding your cycle and knowing what works for your body is the key to learning how to 
put yourself first, every damn day. 

Ohne’s work to combat period poverty 

Combating period poverty has been at the core of our ethos since the very beginning. We donate 1% of our subscription revenue to a non-profit called School Club Zambia that works to support girls education and gender equality in Zambian communities. To continue the fight against period poverty, we’ve also implemented a one-for-one model for our period pants. With every pair of ohne period pants sold, we donate a pair to someone who doesn’t have access to safe and effective period products. 

We've also implemented the option for our customers to donate their monthly period kits to global non-profits and local UK organisations that support those in need of menstrual care. So far we’ve donated 7,753 period products to Hersana, MindOut!, London LGBTQ+ Centre, The Outside Project, Girls Out Loud, St. Vincent, CFO Activity Hub, Phoenix Community Housing, UK-SVG Friendship Trust and Ukraine Relief Efforts. 

How ohne is helping the environment 

We’re dedicated to making each and every ohne product as sustainable as can be - from the ingredients and materials to our compostable and 100% recyclable packaging. Our products are certified by both Soil Association and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), and we’ve proudly saved 2,202,460 grams of plastic (the equivalent of 222,470 plastic water bottles) from winding up in oceans and landfills by making our products plastic-free. Plus, every single ohne product is completely vegan (forever ‘n always).
